Reunited With an Old Friend align="right"
In September I had the privilege of spending a whole day with my friend Gerry McMillan who arranged for me to speak in two schools in the Orillia Ontario area.
Gerry and I have been friends for over 25 years and we have worked in community services on many occasions.
The day started with an early morning breakfast with the “All Pro Dad” group at the Ardtrea Cumberland Beach school.
The rest of the day was spent at the Ardtrea Cumberland Beach and the Uptergrove Public schools.
The principals and teachers at these schools were outstanding people who are totally committed to the welfare and education of the students in their care. I was able to give copies of my book “Child of Woe” to students who desired to read it after hearing my presentation.
Gerry MaGerry is also a team member of Georgian Critical incident stress management team and the North Simcoe Victim Crisis services.
My thanks to Gerry, for his deep concern for our young people and his commitment to those in need in our communities.
